Description of Significance CONSTRUCTED IN 1917, THIS CLAY TILE ELEVATOR REPRESENTS AN EXPERIMENT IN NEW BUILDING MATERIALS. TILE ELEVATORS WERE SOON SUPPLANTED BY THOSE CONSTRUCTED OF CONCRETE.THE SQUARE HEADHOUSE IS OFFSET BY THE CURVED WALL OF THE BINS. LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER 10/7/83
